This happened to my family.By deutsche bank claimed a collection company owned the loan and they were going to modify us.They lied’they foreclosed on us.The collection agency was sps,whom they claimed that Aames hired them,so we called Aames and found out Aames filed chapter 11 2years ago and no longer exist.

I cant beleive what Ive read about your home I too have Flagstar for a mortgage company and they just turned me down for a loan mod after five months of doc prep and questions. Got me nowhere.I am know looking into Hamp and emrgengy relief programs. Thanks for all your info.

Rick, I’m so sorry to hear of your situation. Unfortunately, the lenders/servicers are so overwhelmed with borrower files and apparently the various departments do not communicate with each other. This is a systemic problem in my opinion. At this point, I would pursue a WRONGFUL FORECLOSURE strategy that could result in you getting monetary damages for wrongful foreclosure from your lender or the title insurer. If you have the Battle Plan Report, there are more details on how to execute this strategy.

Good Grief just what a struggling homeowner needs to spend 249 dollars that they do not have. This sounds like a big scam just like the so called loan modification programs. If you really wanted to help people you would simply post a few options of what they could do to postpone the foreclosure sell without reaching into their back pocket. ARGH
